Extrusion Notes
Easily processed polyethylene coatings. Excellent draw and relatively low viscosity permits high line speeds at weights as low as 4 lbs. / 3,000 ft². Low sensitivity to fluctuations in melt temperature allows Westlake Polymers' EC 475 to be easily processed at melt temperatures. For heavy coatings onto cellophane, 570° F is recommended. Neck-in is minimized, odor and smoke is reduced.
