Product Description
The OxyChem line of High Molecular Weight (HMW) PVC Suspension Resins is designed to give formulators the resins needed for tough, elastic, thermoplastic compounds. These resins can be processed with conventional PVC resin equipment, and the range of molecular weights permits the optimizing of physical properties with ease of processing.
The OXY HMW PVC resins can be formulated with high clarity and luster or they can be filled and brightly colored. For the most part, the formulations use high levels of plasticizers and/or incorporate other non-vinyl polymers to give compounds with unique properties.
The rubber-like qualities of these highly plasticized compounds suggest applications currently using various rubber compounds. The primary advantage being raw material and processing economics through scrap recycling and elimination of the vulcanization process.
