Product Description
OXY 1713 is a copolymer resin which is used in place of PVC homopolymers when lower processing temperatures are required. The internal plasticizing effect of vinyl acetate makes copolymers easier to process on conventional equipment. The vinyl acetate also gives exceptional pigment wetting characteristics when high levels of filler are to be used. The composite flooring tile market is the largest volume application for copolymer suspension resins. They are also used to make vinylcolor concentrates and calendered credit card sheet. In addition, OXY 1713 quality has made it possible for this resin to be used in many specialty applications such as lacquers, adhesives, and compound modifiers.
