Product Description
SABIC® LLDPE 318B is a standard C4-LLDPE grade with a relatively low melt flow rate designed for easy processing and specially formulated for optimum thermal stability at high temperatures used in cast film extrusion and wire and cable applications. Cast film produced from SABIC® LLDPE 318B exhibit excellent optical properties, puncture resistance and tear strength.

SABIC® LLDPE 318B contains a higher level of antioxidants and does not contain any antiblock and/or slip agents. It also exhibits excellent Environmental Stress Crack Resistance (ESCR).

SABIC® LLDPE 318B is a general grade for masterbatches in film and blow moulding applications. Especially for low filled or additive masterbatches (e.g. slip agents, anti fog agents, anti static agents, thermal stabilizers).

Sufficient Cu-inhibitor should be added to meet specific ageing requirements. For jacketing applications, addition of Carbon Black or UV stabilizer is required.

SABIC® LLDPE 318B resin is recommended for hand and pallet stretch wrap.

The product mentioned herein is in particular not tested and therefore not validated for use in pharmaceutical/medical applications.
