Product Description
AQUATHENE FR 4098-00 is a colorable flame retardant masterbatch designed specifically for moisture cure applications. When FR 4098-00 is combined with AQ 120-000 and CM 04482 in the correct ratio this formulation is suitable for use in 600-V power cable and control cable applications where UL44 horizontal flame rating and 90°C service in wet locations are required. When melt blended using 30 wt.% FR 4098-00, 5 wt.% CM 04482 and 65 wt.% AQ 120-000, this formulation is designed to meet the following UL requirements: SIS, XHHW, XHHW-2, RHH, RHW, RHW-2, USE and USE-2.
