Product Description

ALCUDIA® compound 2202-PN has been esencially developed for extrusion of pipe of pressure water to comply with the requirements of the UNE 53-131 as a PE 32 and prEN 12201 european standard specification as a PE 40.
Based on the new ISO classification the ALCUDIA® 2202-PN compound is classified PE 40.
2202-PN is a high viscosity high molecular weight low density polyethylene black compound which offers easy processing combined with a good resistance to internal pressure. The combination of the antioxidant system and minimun of 2.2% well dispersed carbon black used in 2202-PN provides the following features: excellent protection against thermal oxidation during processing, long term stability, and excellent protection against outdoor weathering.
The ALCUDIA® 2202-PN may be used in contact with foodstuffs. It also meets the special requirements for the supply of potable water in Germany.
