Product Description
ALCUDIA® 4810 is a high density polyethylene copolymer of hexene with medium molecular weight. It is specially designed to make, by blow moulding, bottles of sterilized milk.
It is classified as Type III, Class A, Category 4 according to ASTM D1248-84
This grade contains stabilizers according to the end use of the item in order to reinforce the thermal stability.
ALCUDIA® 4810 polyethylene includes stabilizers that permit retaining the elongation and tensile strength after undergoing sterilization process.
The rest of its characteristics confers it high impact strength, as well as the good viscoelastic behaviour ofr ALCUDIA® 4810 allows an easy recovering of the mould shape after the sterilization process and storage.
ALCUDIA® 4810 is approved for food contact under certain legislation.
Its additivation makes ALCUDIA® 4810 specially suitable for food contact, mainly for dairy products.
