Product Description
ALCUDIA® 5300-N black compound is an hexene copolymer of high molecular weight especially apt for the extrusion of pipe for gas and potable water to comply with the requirements of prEN 1555 and prEN 12201 european specification standards.
The combination of the antioxidant system and minimum of 2.0% well dispersed carbon black used in 5300-N provides the following features: excellent protection against thermal oxidation during processing, long term stability, and excellent cracking resistance.
Based on the new ISO classification the ALCUDIA® 5300-N compound is classified PE 80.
Because other good mechanical properties and their characteristics, the polyethylene black compound ALCUDIA® 5300-N is designed to produce large diameter pipe for potable water.
The ALCUDIA® compound 5300-N has excellent mechanical properties, cracking resistance and good resistance to internal pressure.
ALCUDIA® 5300-N may be used in contact with foodstuffs.
