ALCUDIA 5502-A Repsol YPF Polyethylene, High Density

Product Description

ALCUDIA® 5502-A is a high density polyethylene copolymer of hexene, with high molecular weight. It is specially designed to make, by blow moulding, tanks of medium size, bottles for mineral water and other drinkable goods.
It is classified as type III, class A, category 5 according to ASTM D1248.
This grade contains a stabilization system specially designed for food contact, and to preserve it from thermal degradation.
ALCUDIA® 5502-A is approved for food contact under certain legislation.
ALCUDIA® 5502-A polyethylene includes antioxidants that permit it to retain the properties after undergoing high temperatures during processing.
