ALCUDIA 6006-L Repsol YPF Polyethylene, High Density

Product Description

ALCUDIA® 6006-L high density polyethylene is a medium molecular weight homopolymer, specially designed for extrusion blow moulding, manufacturing of bottles for sterilized milk.
It is classified as type III, class A, category 4 according to ASTM D1248.
This polymer incorporates an additive package that includes the antioxidant level necessary for its protection as compared to the thermal degredation.
The characteristics of this grade are adequate so that the containers manufactured with it surpass widely the requirements of its application.
6006-L fulfils, in general, with the regulation on applications in contact with foodstuffs.
ALCUDIA® 6006-L incorporates an additives package that allows it to retain its strength and elongation at break properties after have been submitted to the sterilisation process.
The rest of its characteristic confers it high impact strength, as well as a good elastic recovery of the deformation originated during the sterilisation process in tower or autoclave and of the charges of huddled during the bottle storage period.
The aditivation that it incorporates makes 6006-L specially suitable for food contact in general and dairy goods in particular.
