Product Description
ASTALAC™ FBK-M is a structural foam flame retardant grade of ABS which meets the stringent AS/NZS 60695.2.12 (IEC 60695-2-12) Glow Wire flammability test and offers a "high strength to weight ratio". The physical properties depend greatly on the density reduction achieved during moulding. Typical applications include very thick components requiring flame retardancy such as computer casings and low volume production automotive wheel arch fairings. Due to the foaming process, the component surface appearance will be slightly compromised. Consequently, many applications are painted.
