Product Description
586ES
Blendex® 586ES is a high heat resin alphamethylstyrene-styrene-acrylonitrile (AMSSAN).
Increases the service temperature of PVC and other polymer blends.
Enhances injection molding applications by reducing melt viscosity.
Compatible with PVC at all concentrations.
Improves flow, properties and processability of some engineering thermoplastics.
Suitable for direct weather exposure.
Blendex® 586 and PVC can be alloyed to replace other polymers in applications where PVC is not adequate alone.
Potential applications include:
  • Dark colored exterior profile/siding
  • Appliances and business machine housing
  • Electrical and telecommunication devices
  • Industrial sheeting
Can be used as a process aid in CPVC.
