Product Description
Blendex® 587 is a heat distortion copolymer resin alphamethylstyrene acrilontrile (AMSAN).
Specialty polymer that increases the service temperature of products produced from PVC homopolymers and copolymers.
Provides compatibility with PVC at all concentrations.
Can be used with a Blendex® impact modifier to provide impact strength as well as high heat resistance.
Provides excellent high heat resistance in PVC and other thermoplastic polymers.
Offers excellent flow properties in outdoor applications.
Typical applications include:
  • Pipe and fittings for conveying hot fluids
  • Appliance and business machine housings
  • Electrical and telecommunication devices
  • Industrial sheeting
  • Thermoformed parts requiring excellent emboss retention
