Product Description
Blendex® 866 is a high molecular weight process aid methyl methacrylate styrene acylonitrile terpolymer (MMASAN).
Provides an economical option for achieving greater melt strength in polymers (usually efficient at 40-70% of conventional acrylic process aid loading levels).
Allows for the production of very low density PVC foam by preventing cell elongation and breakage.
Does not detract from PVC clarity.
Delivers excellent control of gate blush in PVC injection molding.
Suitable for direct weather exposure.
Improves tear strength.
Allows for reduction of external lubricant levels in some formulations.
Provides greater melt strength and hot elongation to both rigid and semi-rigid vinyl applications.
Excellent process aid for foamed PVC applications.
Improves parison control in PVC blow molding.
Provides excellent nip control in PVC calendering.
Improves tear strength in flexible PVC applications.
