Product Description
Borcoat BB127E is a chemically modified polypropylene copolymer designed to be used as the tie layer between the epoxy corrosion protection layer and the top-coat polypropylene coating Borcoat BB108E-1199.

The system Borcoat BB127E/Borcoat BB108E-1199 fulfils the requirements of NFA 49-711, DIN 30678, Shell Specification (DEP 31.40.30.31) and prEN 10286 when used in combination with compatible powder epoxy and applied under sound processing conditions.

Borcoat BB127E is delivered in powder form and can be applied with an ordinary epoxy powder gun. It has excellent adhesion to fusion bonded epoxy and polypropylene. Furthermore it has superior thermal properties and can be used at operating temperatures within the range of -10°C to 110°C, and up to 140°C for specific offshore projects.
