Product Description
Borecene Compact RM8406 is a third generation linear medium density black polyethylene for rotational moulding and for use as rough coat for steel pipe coating. The material can also be used for repair purposes. The narrow molecular weight imparted through metallocene catalyst technology provides an ideal balance of flow and physical properties. Borecene Compact RM8406 is a black version of Borecene RM8403, and is particularly suitable for diesel fuel tanks. Borecene Compact RM8406 is also recommended for use as rough coat in order to increase the surface roughness of the top coat. This is desirable in order to improve the adherence to concrete and for pipe installation at steep elevation. Borecene Compact RM8406 is delivered as new technology powder.

Borecene Compact RM8406 is suitable for rotational moulding of black products such as:
  • Tanks for agricultural, sewerage and septic purposes
  • Water tanks (suitable in contact with drinking water)
  • Parts for pipe systems and underground applications

Borecene Compact RM8406 contains 2% Carbon Black, which is compounded into the polymer for practically unlimited UV-stability. The polymer contains long-term antioxidant.
