Product Description
Borstar HE3496-LS is a bimodal, cadmium free, high density polyethylene compound designed for coextrusion of yellow identifying stripes. It is fully stabilized against thermal degradation and the die buildup during extrusion is minimized. Furthermore, it has a highly covered pigment that gives a bright yellow stripe even when extruded as a thin layer on a black pipe. It also contains UV-stabilizer to ensure excellent weathering resistance.

Borstar HE3496-LS is recommended for identifying stripes of black pipes for natural gas produced from HE3490-LS.
