Borstar HE3498-LS Borealis Polyethylene, High Density

Product Description

Borstar HE3498-LS is a bimodal, cadmium free, high density polyethylene compound designed for coextrusion of orange-yellow identifying stripes. It is fully stabilized against thermal degradation and the die build-up during extrusion is minimized. Furthermore, it has a highly covered pigment that gives a bright orange-yellow stripe even when extruded as a thin layer on a black pipe. It also contains UV-stabilizer to ensure excellent weathering resistance.

Borstar LE3498-LS is recommended for identifying stripes of black pipes for natural gas produced from HE3490-LS.
