Product Description
Aegis HCA155MP is a lubricated high viscosity, nylon 6/6,6 extrusion grade copolymer for cast or blown film. It conforms to Food and Drug Administration requirements of 21 CFR 177.1500. It possesses the combination of strength and toughness associated with N6/6,6 as well as excellent heat, chemical, and abrasion resistance. The reduced melt point (385 deg F/196 deg C) of this resin results in lower process melt temperature, lower head pressure, and lower amperage. This translates to higher extrusion rates and thinner nylon layer capabilities. It will also thermoform at lower temperatures and yield higher production rates.
