Product Description
BL1607is a semi high molecular weight (SHMW) polyethylene with excellent physical properties.

BL1607 is UV-stabilized.

BL1607 is unique in this application field: the very high density at this molecular weight level makes the grade suitable for industrial applications at very high toughness conditions.

BL1607 combines very good stiffness, excellent creep performance and very good impact both at room temperature and very low temperatures. The rather high molecular weight and excellent melt strength of the grade guarantee good processing both during the sheet extrusion step and during the reheating/thermoforming process.

When BL1607 is used for blow molding it should be used for applications requiring very good melt strength during the process like: 3D blow molding, stadium seats, and children car seats. The grade is not designed for chemicals packaging.
