Product Description
Borclear RE718CF is a propylene alpha olefin copolymer resin formulated with antiblocking agent and without Ca-stearate, specially developed for the manufacturing of unoriented cast film for metallising. It is specifically designed to be coextruded as a skin layer in combination with a high crystalline homopolymer core layer of Bormod HD915CF.

Borclear RE718CF is characterised by:
  • Excellent optical properties: very high gloss, very low haze
  • Good balance of reasonable stiffness and tenacity
  • Good heat sealing properties, good hot tack
  • Extremely low blooming: good retention of high gloss levels upon ageing
  • Very low soluble-levels
  • Excellent adhesion properties for metallisation
