Product Description
UNITHENE LH523 is a high density polyethylene especially developed for injection molding of PET bottle base-cup. In addition, UNITHENE LH523 can be applied to powder coating after grinding. High melt index of UNITHENE LH523 makes it exhibit excellent processability. Also, UNITHENE LH523 possesses superb impact strength and resistance to stress crack owing to its lower density. A combination of above characteristics and good stiffness, high hardness, high surface gloss, less deformation provides UNITHENE LH523 as an outstanding resin for the application of PET bottle base-cup. UNITHENE LH523 can be easily pigmented to any color by either dry blending or melt blending of the pigment into the resin. If it is necessary, the printability of items molded from UNITHENE LH523 can be accomplished after a suitable flame, chemical or electronic surface treatment. UNITHENE LH523 meets the requirement of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration regulation. It can be safely used for food applications.
