Product Description
CG9620 is a HDPE extrusion coating grade. It is suitable for wide a wide range of applications where either property enhancements or material down gauging is a target. Compared with standard LDPE the use of CG9620 enables improved water vapor barrier and higher temperature and grease resistance. Applying HDPE in extrusion coating is beneficial in cases where low surface friction (C.O.F.) or improved mechanical properties, like stiffness, are needed.
Due to the HDPE specific linear molecular structure it is recommended to use CG9620 in co-extrusion with autoclave coating LDPE (like CA8200). Processing of CG9620 does not require any extruder modifications.
