| Envision Plastics started with a concept and state of the art HDPE recycling systems from Union Carbide Corporation's Plastic Recycling business, located in Piscataway, NJ, but no physical plant to manufacture. Envision Plastics was formed in 2001 after obtaining proprietary rights and patented technologies from Union Carbide. At the same time, 2 newly acquired facilities, FCR (Casella Waste) Plastic Recycling in Reidsville, NC and USPL in Chino CA, provided the manufacturing platforms needed for the production of recycled HDPE resin. The locations of these 2 facilities also allowed for ease in distribution from either coast to their customers. | |
