| Applied Thermoplastic Resources, LLC (ATR) began at the Georgia Institute of Technology as a research project in May of 1995. In January of 1997 the company focused on the large supply of nylon post-industrial fiber waste from North Georgia's largest industry, Carpet Manufacturing. Using this supply of post-industrial fiber, ATR has been able to develop a standard product line that scopes from basic unfilled mixed color resins for compounding feedstock to highly engineered heat stabilized, impact modified grades fit for compounding or molding. | |
