There are 32,216 grades of plastics world-wide that are suitable for Injection Molding.  25% of those are available in North America, followed by Europe with 18% and Asia with 12% of injection moldable grades. Top applications made with these materials include automotive, electrical/electronic components, and household goods and appliances.  Interestingly, 203 of the 32,216 grades are reported to be good metal replacements!
