April 10, 2007 - Jenoptik Laser Technologies – Brighton, MI the US subsidiary of Jenoptik Automatisierungstechnik of Jena, Germany is now taking orders for their JENOPTIK – VOTAN W ™ Laser Welding System – Beam in Motion Machine. It is being very well received in the marketplace from medical, to automotive to consumer products. The patented technology developed jointly with Stäubli Robotics is a new standard with the laser being installed in the high speed arm of the robot. With the laser being integrated into the robot arm, the robot dynamics and flexibility now exceeds all customer demands. Water cooled mirrors internal to the robot allow for laser power to be increased to 2500 watts if needed. Take this high speed robot cutting system and put it into the new compact laser processing cell (7 feet x 17 feet) specifically developed by Jenoptik. Now you are talking about state of the art. This cutting cell is one of the smallest laser robot cutting systems worldwide. Everything that is necessary for laser cutting of non-metal material is integrated into this stand alone unit. The exhaust system is integrated into the turntable, by design the waste gas is removed as it appears during cutting. The waste gas is moved to a carbon filter which is installed next to the unit. Now you have read what the Beam in Motion can do for you take your application to the next level.
