WILMINGTON, Del., Jan. 21, 2008 – DuPont Engineering Polymers announces a 15 cent per pound increase will be applied to DuPont™ Delrin® acetal thermoplastic products in the Americas, effective Jan. 25, 2008 or as contracts allow, based on continuing escalation of raw material, energy, transportation and logistics costs as coupled with increased product demand.
DuPont strives continuously to offset escalating costs with productivity programs and other containment measures. However, the magnitude of the cost increases coupled with strong market demand makes these price increases essential.
