October 15, 2008 – Evansville, Ind. – DSM Engineering Plastics and Nexeo Solutions intend to dissolve their distribution agreement in North America effective Feb. 1, 2009. The firms recognized the partnership in North America was no longer effective for either party and agreed that each would take a different approach. Nexeo Solutions’s North American operations will continue to buy and sell DSM products until the Feb. 1 deadline. This includes all product lines: Akulon® polyamide 6 and 66, Arnitel® TPC, Stanyl® polyamide 46, Nylatron®, Arnite® PBT & PET, and Xantar® PC. The business relationship between DSM and Nexeo Solutions in Europe and the Asia/Pacific region remains unaffected by this announcement.

DSM Engineering Plastics has welcomed Channel Prime Alliance into their distribution network to support all global and regional products. Chase Plastics, a current distributor, along with Channel Prime Alliance have jointly agreed to serve as the key distributors for DSM Engineering Plastics.
