Moorestown, NJ – The Jet Pulverizer Company has become a member of the Rutgers University Center for Advanced Materials via Immiscible Polymer Processing (AMIPP). Jet Pulverizer, based in Moorestown, NJ with an international client base, specializes in the size reduction of dry powders and materials. AMIPP, established to conduct and coordinate research on advanced polymer systems in an innovative environment designed to promote development and commercialization, provides academic and industrial communities with enhanced research and development capabilities as well as education and outreach capabilities in the field of polymer blending and processing technologies.

The project will open the door for collaboration that will further the development and application of advanced polymer technology at the industrial/academic interface. Through this affiliation, Jet Pulverizer and Rutgers University will work together to identify and implement polymer processing applications for LiquaJet, LLC. LiquaJet, LLC, a recent partner of the Jet Pulverizer Company, offers a new, advanced jet milling technology that makes previously ungrindable materials grindable.

According to Bill Henry, “Our affiliation with Rutgers University will allow us to work together to develop innovative size reduction solutions to mill some of the toughest engineered materials ever created.”
