The Plastics Graveyard, a new report born April 13, 2006 (2:43 pm Mountain Time), offers a way to help you track down companies and products that have changed names. It also tracks companies and products that have, well - died (may they rest in peace).
And! We've been in the secret IDES operating room performing massive surgery on Prospector's Keyword Search. The surgery was an overwhelming success, even though we had to pull out a defibrillator twice to revive it. Login for a spin
Warmest wishes,
The IDES Prospector Team

2. X5's Keyword Search Survives Massive Surgery
The Keyword Search in X5 has become a popular way to search for plastics by keyword, but sometimes it was pretty picky about spelling and syntax. So, Keyword Search went under the knife and our surgeons are happy to report that they were able to make it much smarter for you.
Now try searching any portion of the material you're looking for (like grade number, product name, grade and product name) and Prospector will be able to find it for you:

Also, you'll notice that the search box is available on the home page of X5. By default, it searches Prospector for data sheets, but now you can also search The Plastics Web®, our new website and vertical search engine that includes only plastics related content.
