How to Save Property Searches in Prospector

I recently had a phone call from a gentleman who was new to our Prospector search features. Using Property Search he had located an Ecoflex® product that met his criteria of transparent, biodegradable plastics located in North America that could be used to make bags. Having perfected his search criteria, he wanted to be able to quickly search on them without having to go through each property again. Lucky for him, Prospector can do just that!

I showed him how saving your search is really quite simple and very benificial. In addition to offering a quick way to find specific materials he looks for, the search automatically updates its results as more product datasheets are added to Prospector. This will ensure that he always receives the most up-to-date information for the criteria he needs.

To save a completed search simply click the 'Save' link on the Property Search screen located in the top center above the Current Search Criteria box. This opens a text box for naming the search. After entering a name (in this case, Biodegradable Bags - see screen shot below), simply save the search. When you are ready to resuse this search, click on the 'Load' link on the Property Search page and select your search from your list of saved searches.
