A rumor has surfaced speculating that IDES will soon be releasing an updated version of the Prospector search engine for plastic materials information. Apparently engineers at IDES have developed several new enhancements to Prospector. Many of the updates appear to address several suggestions from Prospector users during the past two years. Anonymous sources have posted spy photos of what looks to be a new datasheet and search results table. |

In the results table, a new widget appears when you hover your mouse over links to material datasheets (click the image to the left to view in more detail). Within this hover box, there is a summary product description and links to each material's datasheet, information on where to buy, how to find alternative plastics, a way to email the datasheet, automotive approvals, curve data, and links to literature and processing information. We need your help to name this new Prospector widget. Below you'll find some ideas our team jotted down on a whiteboard the other day. |
