Search for Biopolymers in Prospector

As the plastics industry continues to grow, so does the concern for using biodegradable and environmentally-friendly products. Prospector currently has several ways to find biodegradable and recycled materials in our database, and we expect the number of materials that meet those criteria to grow substantially in the near future. Our database now contains information from over 650 global resin suppliers, many of which are now supplying biodegradable products.

Finding Alternative Polymers

Finding alternative polymers has been a hot topic recently, especially with all the price increases of resin. This no doubt triggered numerous searches for alternative resins. Aside from price increases, there are other, more common reasons for finding alternative materials that you may encounter from time to time; either your parts need improvement, the material you've been using doesn't exist anymore, or you've been asked to cut costs yet again. Whatever the reason, it's time to start looking for another resin.
