LARAMIE, Wyo. - August 13, 2003 - IDES, the technology and market leader in plastics data management services, today announced that Solvay Advanced Polymers, L.L.C. has standardized its high-performance plastics data management operations using material selector technologies from IDES. By using IDES solutions, the Solvay Advanced Polymers website allows its users to quickly and intuitively access the company’s product data.

For those who are already familiar with the company’s product offerings, an intuitive search method steps them through a material selection process that includes product name, material family/resin type, applications, filler/reinforcement and processing methods. In addition, Solvay Advanced Polymers provides product data in ASTM, ISO and ISO 10350 standards and a selector option to display units in English or SI, streamlining its global interactions.
