LARAMIE, Wyo. – November 8, 2006 – IDES Inc. today announced that their Prospector Plastics Database for plastic material datasheets now includes distributor contact information for more than 25,000 grades of resin. From each material’s datasheet, plastics buyers are provided with the phone number, website address, and geographic location for distributors, and in some cases, names and phone numbers for sales representatives are displayed.
“Prospector is the only place in the world where you can look at a complete list of distributors for a plastic material,” said Mike Kmetz, President of IDES. “Our customers want to make sure they have multiple reliable sources for the plastic materials they buy. Prospector now gives them complete plastic distributor information in one click.”
Adding functionality to track down distributors of plastic materials in Prospector is the first of several steps IDES is initiating to help buyers and sellers of plastics connect.
